Terms of Service

1. The service

AstroVibe provides a hosted astrological calculation API ("the Service") covering Western, Vedic, Chinese, Numerology, Human Design, Divination and related traditions. The Service returns computed data and editorial interpretation text. It is provided for entertainment, personal reflection, and product development; it is not professional, medical, financial, or legal advice.

2. Accounts and keys

You are responsible for safeguarding your API keys and for all activity under them. Keys must not be shared or embedded in client-side code unless they are publishable keys provisioned for that purpose. You may revoke keys at any time. We may suspend access to protect the Service or to comply with law.

3. Acceptable use

You may not: reverse engineer or resell the Service itself; use the Service to infringe rights or laws; attempt to circumvent rate limits or quotas; or use the Service in regulated contexts where its output could cause harm. Commercial use of the computed data is permitted per your subscription's license terms.

4. Quotas and limits

Plans specify request quotas. Quotas reset monthly (1st of month, UTC). Exceeding a quota returns HTTP 429; your application must handle it. We may adjust rate limits to protect the Service, with reasonable notice where practical.

5. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not warrant uninterrupted service. The Service may change, deprecate, or remove endpoints; deprecated endpoints are announced in the changelog and OpenAPI specification before removal where feasible.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the three months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and cancel your subscription. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your keys are revoked and your entitlement to use the Service ends; accrued data may be retained per our privacy policy.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes are announced on the changelog and this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
